OctoHedz Genesis
The original collection launched in August of 2021
The original OctoHedz collection of 888 NFTs is referred to as OctoHedz Genesis. Trading for this collection has amassed over 1400 Ethereum in sales volume, topping out at a 15 Ethereum sale for a single NFT. During a time when pixel-art was gaining popularity within the NFT space, OctoHedz stood out by having unique character designs, immersive backgrounds, and an amazing community of over 3500 members.
The Genesis collection boasts a wide variety of utility, supported by its passively generated token: INKz. By holding an OctoHedz Genesis NFT, you can use the INKz to interact with the rest of the OctoHedz ecosystem. This allows holders to claim other NFTs like Baby Krakens and OctoHedz VX. OctoHedz Reloaded NFTs may look similar to the OctoHedz Genesis collection, but there will always be additional perks for Genesis holders.
The INKz that an OctoHedz Genesis generates daily can also be redeemed for whitelist spots, in-game items, additional NFTs and perks via our upcoming marketplace. While construction of the marketplace has been completed, we are in the process of acquiring and building the inventory to ensure a stable flow of purchases and maintain a healthy tokenomic balance.
